AVS-2 Anti Vibration & Air Ventilation System • Our newest state-of-the-art batting glove incorporates two new advanced leather technologies developed exclusively for Franklin by Pittards of England • AVS-2 batting gloves incorporate two technologies that control both hand fatigue, brought on by vibration and heat build-up (1) The Anti-Vibration portion was developed based on the concept of controlling resonant frequencies (sound waves) which are naturally inherent when batting. Pittards unique patent pending production process allows our gloves to dissipate frequencies which helps to reduce impact sensations (2) The Air-Ventilation portion was developed on the premise of increasing breathability and therefore reducing heat build-up. Microvent™ technology allows us to “micro-perforate” our trademark Digital® leather which allows a batters hands to stay cooler, dryer and more comfortable, therefore, increasing grip and confidence at the plate.
